Some amazing resources to stay up-to-date

TL;DR:
- Follow AlphaSignal for AI and TLDR for tech news.
Here is a curated list of amazing resources I try to follow to stay up-to-date as a ML engineer. There is no need to have a thousand sources of truth, as only few high-quality resources suffice.
AI 🤖
- AlphaSignal (newsletter): 5-minute email summary of the latest breakthrough news, models, research, and repos.
- TLDR AI (newsletter): Daily newsletter, provides more news than AlphaSignal and across more fields.
- Hugging Face spaces (website): The interface to play with the latest sota open source models, from any field.
- Yannic Kilcher (Youtube channel): A funny and competent Youtuber that deep dives into milestone ML papers.
- Andrej Karpathy (Youtube channe, and more!): An incredible explainer that goes from first principles to the latest research. His series on LLMs are pure gold.
Tech 💻
- 📰 TLDR (newsletter): There are different newsletters (TLDR AI is one of them), and I strongly recommend to opt in for at least TLDR, TLDR AI and TLDR Web Dev.
- 🚀 Dreams of Code (Youtube channel): Really cool content on improving developer productivity, automating everything and other nerdy topics.
- 🔥 Fireship (Youtube channel): A lot of short videos that explain a lot of concepts in a very entertaining way.
- 🎙️ Lex Fridman (Youtube channel): A lot of really good podcasts with some of the brightest minds of our world.
- 💎 And a myriad of other hidden gems blogs: matklad, john gjengset, Hynek Schlawack ...
Python stuff 🐍
- 📬 Pycoder's weekly (newsletter): A very cool weekly newsletter that present the newest python features while linking towards modern python good practises.
- 📚 Real Python (website): The default website to look for when searching about a python feature.
- 🎤 Any PyCon conference on Youtube: These conferences go from beginner to advanced topics, and are a great source of inspiration.
